President Marcos Jr. Honors Sing Again 4 Runner-Up Gwyn Dorado in Malacañan Palace

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. honored Filipina singer-songwriter Gwyneth Jearei "Gwyn" Dorado during a courtesy call at Malacañan Palace on Tuesday afternoon, August 25, 2026.

The Chief Executive commended the 21-year-old artist for her historic, second-place finish in South Korea’s hit reality singing competition, Sing Again 4. Dorado made waves internationally as the only foreign contestant to advance to the show's Top 4.

During her visit at the President's Hall, Dorado serenaded President Marcos Jr. with a brief rendition of the timeless OPM classic "Bato sa Buhangin". The Palace noted that her global milestones continue to showcase world-class Filipino talent on the international stage.
