First Lady Liza Marcos Gets Early Birthday Surprise From Kris Aquino, Sons

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos received an early 67th birthday surprise from the "Queen of All Media" Kris Aquino and her sons, Josh and Bimby, who presented her with advanced birthday cakes.

The First Lady shared the rare family snapshot on her official Facebook and Instagram accounts on Sunday, August 9, 2026, expressing gratitude for the heartwarming gesture. One of the four cakes brought to Malacañang was inscribed with “Happy birthday FLAM,” an acronym for the First Lady.

 

"Thank you Kris, Josh & Bimby for the lovely advanced birthday cakes! Such a thoughtful surprise that truly warmed my heart. Feeling very blessed," Araneta-Marcos wrote. Her actual birthday falls on August 21.

While the Marcos and Aquino families are prominent historical and political rivals, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has previously noted that they maintain good personal relations outside of politics. The First Lady also shares familial ties with the Aquinos by affinity, as her aunt was married to the elder brother of the late President Corazon "Cory" Aquino.
