SC Names San Beda Alabang National HQ for 2026 Bar Exams

The Supreme Court has officially designated San Beda College Alabang in Muntinlupa City as the National Headquarters for the 2026 Bar Examinations.

The formal institutional partner agreement was signed on July 10 by Supreme Court Associate Justice Samuel Gaerlan, Chairperson of the 2026 Bar Examinations, and SBCA Rector-President Rev. Fr. Gerardo Ma. De Villa, OSB.

A Trusted Legal Hub

The Alabang-based institution is a seasoned host for the high-stakes licensure exams. The campus previously served as the operational command center during the 2023 and 2024 Bar Examinations.

Under the new agreement, SBCA will simultaneously operate as:

• The central logistical headquarters for the Supreme Court's contingent.
• The processing center for digital examination data transmission.
• One of 15 local testing centers scattered across the archipelago.

Digitalized Testing Details

The digitalized examinations will be administered nationwide on September 6, 9, and 13.

Associate Justice Gaerlan expressed appreciation for the school's historical support, noting that its infrastructure matches the rigorous technical and security demands required to oversee thousands of examinees simultaneously.

Security and Local Coordination

The Muntinlupa City Government and local police units are coordinating with court officials. Comprehensive traffic rerouting schemes, security perimeters, and noise-control zones will be enforced around Alabang Hills during the testing dates to maintain an optimal environment for the examinees.
