Inaugural Reina Filipinas 2026 Launches with 21 Official Candidates; Miss Eco International Alexie Brooks Makes Pageant Comeback

The inaugural Reina Filipinas 2026 national pageant officially launched its search on Monday, July 13, 2026, introducing its 21 official candidates during a grand welcome event and sashing ceremony at the Crystal Palace of Aquila in the Sky(located in Silang, Cavite, near Tagaytay City).

A New Era in Philippine Pageantry

The debut event, dubbed "The Grand Reveal," marked the official commencement of the newly established national competition. Helmed by pageant president Jojo Bragais and national director Emma Tiglao, the organization also used the occasion to unveil its two majestic, gold-crafted Miss Grand International All Stars crowns.

During the ceremony, the 21 aspiring queens performed an energetic opening production number in silver dresses. They then strutted down the runway in reveal-style outfits, transitioning to a second look underneath before formally presenting themselves and their respective provinces to receive their official sashes.

Star-Studded Lineup and Major Comebacks

Headlining this year's highly competitive roster is celebrated Ilongga beauty queen Alexie Brooks, who is making a high-profile return to the national stage to represent Iloilo City. Brooks, a former Miss Iloilo 2024 and a decorated national athlete, recently made waves by winning the Miss Eco International 2025 crown in Egypt. Her decision to join the maiden edition of Reina Filipinas immediately establishes her as a top tier contender to watch.

The official sashing ceremony serves as the opening chapter of the competition, as the 21 candidates officially begin their rigorous journey toward the historic coronation night.
