It felt like 2003 all over again. Long before the global explosion of K-pop and Korean dramas, a single Taiwanese series gripped the hearts of the Philippines: Meteor Garden. On Saturday night, June 27, 2026, the local "Meteor Garden Fever" came full circle as F4 members Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Zhou stepped onto the stage of the massive Philippine Arena.
The concert marked the Manila leg of the highly anticipated “F✦FOREVER” 1st World Tour, co-presented by Live Nation Philippines and Ovation Productions. The event served as a monumental reunion, bringing the members back to Philippine soil more than two decades after their cultural takeover of the country.
A Starlight-Themed Production
Fans had been gathering outside the venue early in the day amid tight security and heavy traffic management. Upon entering, concertgoers were greeted by an immersive, cosmic-themed production.
According to organizers, the venue was fitted with a specially designed four-point star-shaped stage. This strategic setup allowed the group to break past the typical stadium barrier and interact closely with the ocean of emotional fans. Dynamic lighting displays mimicking shooting stars flickered across the arena, perfectly mirroring the celestial themes of the group’s classic hits.
Echoes of 'Meteor Garden'
Though member Ken Chu was absent from this tour lineup due to contract disagreements with organizers, the sheer star power of Yan, Wu, and Zhou—bolstered by Mayday’s frontman Ashin—kept the stadium completely spellbound.
The collective voices of thousands of fans shook the stadium as the supergroup performed beloved F4 anthems like "Can't Lose You" (Jue Bu Neng Shi Qu Ni) and the generation-defining "Meteor Rain" (Yan Huo De Ji Jie). The setlist also featured fresh, reimagined musical arrangements alongside joint performances of new tracks like "Forever Forever" (a song co-created by Ashin and Mandopop king Jay Chou) and the brotherhood-themed anthem "Always Be My Bro".
The tour highlights both the 25th anniversary of the group’s initial formation and the timelessness of their legacy. For the multi-generational Filipino crowd who paid ticket prices ranging up to ₱21,500 via SM Tickets, the night was much more than a standard music concert—it was a priceless trip down memory lane.
