WANTED IN THE PNP: DO YOU WANT TO WIN A MILLION-MILLION REWARD?
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has once again warned against four high-profile individuals who are considered fugitives from the law with huge rewards at stake for their capture. Topping the list is notorious gambling tycoon Charlie “Atong” Ang, who has a bounty of P20,000,000.00 on his head. He is facing multiple charges of Kidnapping with Homicide and Serious Illegal Detention in connection with the mysterious disappearance of drug dealers in the country. He is currently under an Interpol Red Notice to prevent any attempt to hide outside the Philippines.
Meanwhile, after months of hiding, Elizaldy "Zaldy" S. Co. was arrested in Germany last April. He is the main suspect in the massive Flood Control Project Controversy where he is facing warrants for Plunder and Anti-Graft from the Sandiganbayan. On the other hand, former BuCor chief Gerald Bantag, alias "Berdugo," remains at large. A P2,000,000.00 reward is being offered for anyone who can point him out for his involvement in the killing of veteran journalist Percy Lapid.
Authorities are also hunting former police officer Rafael Dumlao III, who was sentenced to Reclusion Perpetua (life imprisonment) by the Court of Appeals. Dumlao was found guilty of Kidnapping with Homicide and Carnapping in the controversial killing of Korean businessman Jee Ick-joo inside Camp Crame. A P1,090,000.00 reward is being offered for his arrest. The PNP encourages the public to immediately report any information to the nearest police station or call the PNP Hotline 117 to help achieve justice and receive the corresponding reward.
