The victim, a resident of Barangay Sauyo, was queuing at the Risen Garden inside the Quezon City Hall grounds on Thursday, May 21, 2026. She was lined up to receive financial aid from the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, coordinated through the office of Councilor Vito Sotto Generoso and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
