PRC Releases April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) Licensure Exam Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially announced that 3,769 out of 6,556 examinees successfully passed the April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination. The results, released in just three working days, show an overall passing rate of approximately 57.49%.

Topnotchers and Academic Excellence

Top 1: John Veluz Labrador from the University of the Philippines-Diliman led the batch with a remarkable rating of 94.25%.

Other Top Performers: Two Cebuano graduates also secured top spots: Jude Noel Penkian Jarina of Cebu Institute of Technology-University (4th place, 93.30%) and Mark Jhon Entia Gera of Cebu Technological University-Tuburan (5th place, 93.20%).

Top-Performing Schools

University of the Philippines-Los BaƱos was recognized as the best-performing school for those with 30 or more examinees, achieving a nearly perfect 98.15% passing rate (53 out of 54 takers).

Technological University of the Philippines-Manila also excelled, with 20 out of 21 test takers passing.

Next Steps for New REEs

Online Registration: Successful examinees can begin registering for their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration online starting June 15, 2026, via the official PRC website.

Oathtaking: The date and venue for the official oathtaking ceremony will be announced by the PRC at a later date.
