Residents of Barangay Nuangan, Kidapawan City were shocked by the mysterious change in color of their river after heavy rains on Sunday afternoon, April 26.

According to witnesses, including photographer Orjie Urduna, the water started turning blue around 5:00 p.m. until it gradually turned bluer. The strange sight made the water look like an "enchanted river."

The City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) immediately took action to investigate the incident. It is currently investigating whether it was caused by chemicals or a natural phenomenon. The public is advised to avoid approaching or using the water until the final results of the experts' analysis are available.
