Couple ‘Dating’ on Private Land, Arrested; Gun Seized in Kidapawan
An 18-year-old man was arrested while his underage girlfriend is in the custody of social welfare after they were caught trespassing and carrying a gun in Barangay Sudapin on the afternoon of April 25.
Based on the report, the landowner, Mrs. Wilma Gulihing, was disturbed when the two entered her property in Suerte Subdivision supposedly to go on a date. The woman quickly called authorities for help, which resulted in the arrest of the suspects.
During an inspection by the Kidapawan City MPS, a 9mm pistol, a magazine, and six bullets were seized from the suspects’ sling bag. The suspect was identified as Kenth Zeasar Apura Embacanan, 18, a resident of the city. He was accompanied by his 17-year-old girlfriend alias "Lorie."
Embacanan is currently facing charges for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). The minor has been brought to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) for the necessary process.
