CONVERGE OFFERS FREE SPEED BOOST IN RESPONSE TO OIL PRICE INCREASE

Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has implemented a nationwide speed upgrade for its FiberX subscribers in support of Filipino families amid the ongoing oil price crisis and rising household expenses.

Starting April 1 to April 30, 2026, all existing and new subscribers of FiberX plans will receive a free +50Mbps speed boost. This initiative will be applied automatically and will not incur any additional charges on customers’ monthly recurring fees.

This program is also part of the broader Digital Bayanihan initiative of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). The said framework aims to pool the resources of the government and telecommunications providers to expand digital inclusion and make connectivity more affordable for all Filipinos.

The increased speed is expected to help with smoother video calls, faster downloads, and easier access to digital services such as online banking, e-commerce, and telehealth during the promo period.
